3.1 What is Vbuzzer Fax? How does it work?
Vbuzzer Fax is a feature of Vbuzzer Messenger which allows you to upload a file and send it to any fax machine worldwide. The feature also allows you to receive faxes when you subscribe to a fax number for your Vbuzzer account.
3.2 Do I need a fax machine?
You do not need a fax machine to subscribe to or use this feature.
3.3 Do I need a fax modem?
You do not need a fax modem.
3.4 Do I need a printer and/or scanner?
You do not need a printer and/or scanner. You simply upload the file to the Vbuzzer fax wizard and Vbuzzer Messenger will scan it before faxing it out.
3.5 Can I send faxes internationally?
Yes, you can send faxes to any international fax machine.

3.7 Can I receive faxes?
Yes, you can receive faxes if you subscribe to a fax number for your account.
3.8 Can I get a fax number?
Yes, you can subscribe to a fax number for the US or Canada for your Vbuzzer account.
3.9 Do you provide fax numbers outside of the US & Canada?
No, we currently do not provide fax numbers outside of the US & Canada.
3.10 Can I port my current fax number to Vbuzzer?
It is possible to port your Canadian fax number to Vbuzzer, however you will need to check with us first. Currently we do not offer number porting for US fax numbers.
3.11 Can I save all sent and received faxes in my computer?
Your faxes are automatically saved in the Vbuzzer Fax folder of your Vbuzzer Messenger.You can copy & paste them to other folders as you like.
3.12 How do I know the fax has been sent successfully?
Vbuzzer Messenger provides log files for any faxing activity so you know if it was sent or the transmission failed.
3.13 Do you re-try if the fax attempt fails?
Yes, Vbuzzer Messenger retries multiple times after the first attempt fails and will notify you of the final result.
3.14 What types of computer files are supported?
For sending a fax, any type of file is supported. As long as you can open it in your computer, Vbuzzer can scan it and fax it. For receiving a fax, primarily TIFF and PDF are supported.
3.15 Can I send/receive fax via a web page?
Yes, you can send and receive faxes via Vbuzzer's web page. From your account page, you can upload a file and have it sent. Meanwhile, Vbuzzer will keep copies of all your incoming faxes in your account.
3.16 Can I send/receive fax by email?
No, we currently do not support fax via Email.
3.17 What is the difference between fax by IM and fax by email?
We believe fax via instant messaging and/or fax via web page is advantageous over fax via email due to the following reasons:
1) Sending and receiving faxes is instant.
2) Interactivity: fax via IM reports all necessary status such as sent, delay, retry, failed etc.
3) File hosting: all fax are saved on the server so you will not lose a single fax.
4) Auto archiving: all fax files are archived in a dedicated folder in local computers. 3.18 Can I send a fax to multiple recipients?
Yes, you can send any fax to multiple recipients. At the present time you can send one fax to 10 recipients if you have sufficient credit to do so.
3.19 Can I send a fax broadcast?
No, you can not send fax broadcasts.
We also do no accept business by fax broadcasting and we will not respond to any such inquiry.
